About

Born and raised in Belleville, and raised to work hard and do things right — cutting lawns and shoveling driveways at the age of 12, framing houses during summers, and working for a local cabinet maker through his teenage years. In 1998, spent a summer in Calgary framing homes before returning home and launching the first company in 1999. Self-employed ever since, with over 25 years of hands-on experience across construction, landscaping, and snow and ice management.

Lamer Landscaping & Snowplowing Ltd. was founded in 2015, carrying forward the lawn care and snowplowing services of the original company — and expanding into full-service landscape construction, property maintenance, and marine and shoreline work. Every division has grown from one simple mindset: do it right, and do it once.

With a passion for Landscape Design and years of hands-on Dynascape experience, Chris Lamer leads a team that turns property visions into fully planned, professionally executed outdoor spaces. Whether it’s natural stone patios, shoreline restoration, grading and drainage, or custom planting plans, the team delivers projects that are functional, beautiful, and built to last.

All of the work is completed in-house by skilled staff who are trained annually on the latest industry best practices, quality standards, and installation techniques. The company is certified by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), is a Techo-Bloc Certified Pro Contractor, and holds numerous other trade certifications. Lamer Landscaping is also an active member of Landscape Ontario and several sector groups committed to elevating the green industry.
